Great Weekend Part #2

On Sunday when we got home we went to Christie's parents for their annual clam bake/pig roast. This year was extra special because there was a wedding shower for Josh and Kim. Kind of a his and hers shower. The party was awesome as usual. Sidnie and Shane always have so much fun. She spent most of the evening with Jessies dog dexter.

Great Weekend Part #1

Well Christie and I had a lot of fun this weekend. We spent Friday Saturday and part of Sunday in State College for the Penn State game with my parents, Adam and Kristi, Bruce and Kathy Hardy, Pat and Debby McCormick, Ed and MaryLou Williams, and Jeff and Megan. We had a blast shopping/eating/playing washers/eating/relaxing/did I mention eating. The game was awesome! 66-10 Penn State beating Coastal Carolina. (I know I know, not much of an opponent.) My parents have been going up for 9 years now. So Christie and I try to catch at least 1 game a year.

New School Year

Well I went back to my regular school year hours today (6-4:45 or so). A good first day mechanically, but the afternoon got a little crazy with the school putting kids on the wrong buses and what not. Oh well, the next 179 days can only get better!
The kids are doing great. Sidnie has taught her self to swing by herself so she wants to swing all day. Shane keeps learning more and more words, and is growing faster and faster.
Christie is always busy with things around the house and playing/teaching the kids new things. She has been working as a tutor most of the summer.
We are off to PENN STATE this weekend for the home opener with my parents and Adam and Kristi. So hopefully I will remember to take the camera along with me so I can add some photos of the weekend.

Mini "Vacation"

We just got back today from a brief "vacation" . We went up to my grandmothers time share in the Poconos for 2 nights. Not much to do up there, but it was nice to get away. Sidnie and Shane had a great time playing with Ma Lil and Pa Al. They had a blast playing in the indor pool for 2 days. It rained and stormed pretty much all day on Monday so that shot swimming outside and doing a few other things. But all-in-all it was somewhat relaxing.

just So BUSY!!!!

Well kids we are getting ready for our first annual picnic here and boy are we busy. Trying to get things together for a 50 person party is rough work. Oh well some good experiences to learn from for the future. But hopefully we'll be able to pull this off and have an awesome time. The weather seems to be cooperating for the weekend. Calling for 80 degrees which is pretty sweet. Anywho...........all for now.

Busy week!

Well we had a busy week! I was off from work this week so on Tuesday we took the kids down to Elk Neck State Park in Maryland to try out their "beach" on the Chesapeake. The kids had a blast in the water! Sidnie already wants to go back again. So I think we will when August gets here.

We also went Wednesday to buy a newer car to replace our crappy 96 VW Passat. We got a 2006 Chevy Equinox. Pretty sweet ride. Christie picked it out a few weeks ago. She has a great eye for that sort of thing.

Walk Way!

Just finished up our walk way! Christie and I did this a few weekends ago. It kicked our butt the day we did it. We both got sun burn and were extremely sore the next few days. But the pain was worth it! The pavers are EPHenry and are a Harvest Blend color.........well isn't that special (church lady!)

Finally Posting!

Well I am posting finally, been a while. Thought I would add some new pictures of the family and of our completed family room. Summer is finally here!! not much else going on. We started putting in a paver walkway, so i'll post some pictures of it once I get it done.!

Back!

Been a while just thought I would update. Our addition is finally complete. Fireplace installed, new television, new furniture. Looks great. Still have a few things to finish up, but nothing to major.

How about those crappy GIANTS. Adam is in his glory, but...........ELI MANNING! He sucks. oh well, the sun shines on a dogs ass some days.

Had two weeks off for Christmas....how awesome is that!!! Had a great time at home with Christie and the kids. Now that I am back to work this week.....man am I tired!
